20,000 join the food, fun and festivities
Noodlies, Sydney food blog says it’s a hit.
Another year and this food festival grows from strength to strength. The Campsie Food Festival attracted over 20,000 visitors this year with lots of activities for the family and food, lots and lots of food – over 30 stalls serving up everything from paella, bulgogi, gozleme, Dutch pancakes, Korean pancake and much more, showcasing Australia’s diversity with food from Thai, Chinese, Turkish, Dutch, Portuguese and of course Korean cultures and more. To see just some of the deliciousness on the day, see the featured noodlies video above.
Noodlies, Sydney food blog would like to say “thank you, thank you, thank you” to all the wonderful people that turned out to watch me MC the popular eating competition this year.
You are all amazing! And thanks too everyone who entered the competition, many, many more missed out and all I can say is “come back next year!”. This year’s featured food for the eating competition were kim chi and pizza.
Every year we see some characters enter, and this year was no different. The eating competition is now one of the most popular events of the Festival and I’m happy to see the contestants and crowd getting more and more engaged each year.
