Finding the perfect venue just got easier
Noodlies, Sydney food blog meet the people behind Venuemob
Last week noodlies had the pleasure of meeting David Wei, a co-founders of Venuemob, a new start-up backed by Optus that promises to make “it easier for people to discover great venues around Australia for their events”.
Launched in June 2012, it’s an elegantly simple concept, whether for business or personal life we’re bored of the usual venues. Venuemob combines the power of the internet and their selected list of venues to make it easier to find that perfect, individual function space.
Or, in their words:
“We are a young team that loves to hunt down all manner of hip, elegant, professional, or unique venues. We are building a product that showcases the amazing locations we come across and at the same time, we aim to help event organisers save time and effort when looking for venues. Connecting the right people with the right spaces, that’s the key. After all, everybody and every event is nothing if not individual!”
There’s currently over 350 venues, mostly in Melbourne and Sydney, and the spaces can be anything from:
- Bars
- Restaurants
- Pubs
- Unique function spaces
- Cruise boats
Some of their popular Sydney venue spaces include:
