Haven’t been to Pho Tau Bay (flying boat) for a while. Always a favourite, but hard to get into and we don’t like to line up.
Was particularly delicious today, ordered Pho Tai Nam (cooked and uncooked beef). Broth had great flavour, salty from fish sauce and sweet from cooked bones and meat.
The dish came with boiled sprouts and pre-cut basil – I usually prefer sprouts fresh and to pick my own basil leaves of the stalk.
Still all and all was very delicious.
hope to try it one day since it was voted No. 1 pho in the poll 🙂
I'd be interested in what you think of Pho Tau Bay… the queues can be a little long these days since the win!
I thought it was interesting that you say it’s hard to get into. Everytime I go there now, it looked pretty empty compared to the one next door :/. When is it usually packed? Really wanna take my date there one nite esp after hearing the reviews
Hey Annie, weekend lunch is when they’re at their busiest. Go before 10.30am or after 2pm to be safe.
