The latest Roy Morgan magazine readership results are mixed for food magazine publishers. Of the 10 titles with monthly sales of more than 100,000, four recorded gains. The consistent standout performers are Recipes+ (+28.2%), Gourmet Traveller Wine (+27.0%) and Donna Hay (+3.1%).
This season of MasterChef TV has had a lukewarm reception and the significant readership decline of MasterChef Magazine continues (-14.7%), Delicious (-17.6%) is another magazine in double digit decline.
Men’s Lifestyle readership figures continues to depressing: FHM (-33.3%) GQ (-20.8%), and Zoo Weekly (-15.5%).
On a more positive note, gaming magazine, Game Informer records readership increase of +70.7%, responsible for most of the +4.0% growth in the Computing, Gaming & Info Tech mags category.
