Haven’t been to our favourite Chilean eatery/bakery in Fairfield for a while and thought this fine Saturday morning would be the day to change that.

La Paula might be modest to look at but it has been around for ages and has a steady stream of customers. Walter ordered something different today, milanesa al pan, which is crumbed beef steak burger with lashings of mayo and served with thin chips.

Boring me had the usual, chacarrero, thin beef strips in a burger with beans and avocado. Yum!
