Probably my favourite Vietnamese restaurant is this comfortable and unpretentious restaurant. We’ve been going since Thanh Mai opened its doors five(?) years or so ago.
I like Thanh Mai because the dishes on the menu are what mum would cook at home and the flavours are really deliciously home made.
We had some of my favourites, sour soup, bamboo root salad, lemongrass fried chicken, special hot pot prawns and jungle beef… all to die for!
