Noodlies, Sydney food blog contributor, Evie Chataway shares the recipe for glazed chipolatas as part of her ‘Game of Thrones’ themed dinner menu.
- 4 good quality pork chipolata sausages
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp mango chutney
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp whole grain mustard.
- Gift box for serving lined with greaseproof.
- Gift tag or / small piece of card.
Place the sausages in a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Mix together the olive oil, mango chutney, soy sauce and mustard and then pour over the sausages. Shake the sausages around to ensure they are covered in the mix. Pop in the fridge for a couple of hours until you’re ready to cook.
Preheat the oven to 200c, pop the sausages in for 30-40 mins, shaking occasionally. When they are dark in colour and almost caramelised they are ready.
To serve take a gift box lined with greaseproof paper and gently pop the chipolatas inside. Put the lid on top then tie string around with a card. The card should read ‘In this box you’ll find a special gift – Theon’s favourite toy. He cried when I took it away from him. Leave the North now, or more boxes will follow.’ Serve to horrified guests.
