Nestled on Kent street behind the cinemas is Boombina, a no nonsense Korean restaurant.  It’s a small, smart establishment that seem to cater for students, judging by the clientele tonight and their very reasonable prices.

I’m liking the fact that you get six different types of complimentary kim chi with your order.  Four is the standard.  Six is out right generous.

The kim chi soup (not pictured) was delicious, strong seafood taste and kim chi tartness.   The bulgogi was sweet though the beef was a tad tough and really didn’t have enough flavour for my liking.

Likewise the pork belly kim chi stir fry looked the part but there wasn’t any flavour pop.
