Mado Cafe, Turkish, Auburn

What better way to finish off a Turkish meal of shish kebab then with dessert and coffee at Mado. The coffee above came in an amazing brass carry tray. The coffee was strong, but not too bitter, but be warned, it comes with water for a reason – at the bottom it’s sandy almost solid!

I selected maras flavour, which in my inexperience, tastes like vanilla ice cream, rich but without the vanilla fragrance. Went really well with the stronger and stunning looking black mulberry, which was not as tart as I’d imagine, perfect for me.

I can see why people rave about Mado, it’s delicious, authentic and sitting inside the cafe, you could easily be transported to Turkey.
