Thanks UNSW and their students for creating a market for so many cheap and cheerful restaurants in Kingsford! There are so many great value, authentic restaurants in the area, most of them are small and intimate.
These places have have an increadible amount of customer turnover in one night. However, don’t expect too much from the waiters, many of whom are overseas students or overly bossy motherly types.
Wing King is one of them and I’d recommend their generous and tasty prawn laksa, there were around 10 prawns in my bowl.
